The General Chapter, which takes place September 8 to October 8, 2010, is a special time of prayer and preparation for every Oblate and all those associated with us

A NEW HEART doesn’t sound right to me. A RENEWED HEART would sound better. I like it better in the French version as UN COEUR NOUVEAU because it says something to me. If it were UN NOUVEAU COEUR, I would have the same problem as with A NEW HEART. That’s what is nice with the French, by inverting the order, the meaning is clear. In English we can’t say A HEART NEW, that’s why I suggest A RENEWED HEART. I know you want to keep a balance, so you might have to go with A RENEWED SPIRIT and A RENEWED MISSION, in its English version. A NEW HEART sounds physical, like having a heart operation, also UN NOUVEAU COEUR, but the UN COEUR NOUVEAU expresses a different nuance, something like A RENEWED HEART would. I’m sorry if this is so long, but I wanted to make sure I got my point across.
